In what one witness described as like a scene "from a horror flick," a flying buzz saw struck and injured a pedestrian Tuesday on a Manhattan street, police said.
According to NBC New York, the pedestrian was passing a construction crew repairing a water main when the saw went airborne. See shocking surveillance footage of the incident here.
"I was on the right side of the sidewalk. Suddenly, everyone started yelling 'Get down! Move!'" Matthew Bisi told NBC News.
The saw hit a tree, then hit the pedestrian, slicing her leg. She was transported to Bellevue Hospital.
"It looked like it was from a horror flick," added witness Sean Kuilan.
