Sheriff: Texas driver who hit boy at school bus stop said she had to use bathroom
An 8-year-old boy getting off his school bus in Texas suffered a fractured arm Friday when he was struck by a driver who ignored the bus' sign and stop lights, authorities said.
According to a tweet by the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, the driver told deputies she disregarded the sign and lights because she needed to go to the bathroom.

The incident occurred at 4 p.m., KHOU reported. The boy was a student at Patterson Elementary School in Richmond, the television station reported.
The driver was cited for disregarding the bus' warning signals, the Sheriff's Office wrote on its Facebook page.
