When you are at a loss for where to turn and you don’t know what to do next, you often begin to think completely out of the box.

And sometimes it works.

In fact, the world is praying that a plea from the family of a missing New York woman to none other than the country star she idolized will help bring her home this holiday weekend.

Twenty-four-year-old Rachael Mattice was last seen on June 22, when she left her parents' home to travel to a campsite 50 miles away where she planned to vacation with family. Despite search efforts from countless family, friends and concerned citizens, Rachael has yet to turn up, causing her family members and friends to ask for the help of none other than Shania Twain.

“I’ve heard the story of Rachael Mattice & urge anyone with information to come forward to the police & help her return to her family,” Shania wrote in a tweet on Thursday. “Thinking of you Rachael.”

According to various media reports, Rachael Mattice is 5 feet 3 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information on Rachael's whereabouts can contact the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at 518-548-3113.
