Landon is on Santa's nice list, of this he can be sure.

Landon, or L as his mother affectionately calls him, went to the mall to see Santa with his cousins recently.

After taking the picture, L went back to Santa with something he had to share.

"He went back to Santa because he wanted to tell him that he has autism," L's mother, Naomi Johnson wrote on the RiverTown Crossings Mall Facebook page. "He was flapping his hands, all excited to let Santa know that he has autism," she said.

What happened next was something only Santa has the power to do.
First, he asked L if having autism bothered him, to which he answered yes, it did. Santa told L that it shouldn't bother him.

Next, "L told Santa that sometimes he gets in trouble at school and it's hard for people to understand that he has autism, and that he's not a naughty boy."

Santa said he shouldn't worry and that he has been a very good boy being who he is, his mother writes.

"They sat and chatted for at least five minutes," she said. Seeing how much Santa cared about her son "melts this momma's heart!"

L constantly receives encouragement from his mother to embrace his personality, but having him open up to someone else and be accepted is huge, she said.

"We have met a lot of amazing people in our autism journey, but this one made the top of the list," she said.
