A Realtor has announced the pending sale of the famous Edith Macefield house in a Seattle, Washington, neighborhood.

In 2007, Edith Macefield made national headlines when she rejected $1 million dollars from developers for her circa 1900 house because she wanted to stay in her small home in Ballard, Washington. When Macefield died in 2008, she willed it to Barry Martin who later sold the property in 2009. The property went into foreclosure not long after.

According to the Seattle P.I., Real estate broker Paul Thomas fielded over 38 offers on the property and the best offer has until end of May to close the deal.
