SAG Awards 2019: What time, what channel, who is nominated, how to watch

The Screen Actors Guild Awards may be memorable for something other than a diverse collection of nominees.

Host Megan Mullally has sworn that the 25th annual awards ceremony will be free of political humor – at least for her hosting gig.

“I don’t think it’s that kind of night,” Mullally told Variety. “I’m political, but my stock-in-trade is not politics.”

The awards ceremony is popular with the Hollywood community and is often an accurate look at what may take home honors at the Academy Awards.

Here is what you need to know about the ceremony:

When: The ceremony is set for Sunday

What time: 8 p.m. EST

What channel: The ceremony will be broadcast on TNT and TBS

Where is it being held: Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, Los Angeles, CA

Who is hosting: Megan Mullally, best known for her character of Karen on "Will and Grace," will host the show.

Special honor: Actor Alan Alda will receive a lifetime achievement award.
