In the original video posted Aug. 5, Sam Rader appears to surprise his wife, Nia, by revealing her pregnancy to her. Here's how he said he pulled it off: After Nia mentioned that she was two weeks late, Sam apparently was able to get a urine sample because Nia doesn't flush the toilet. He then tested the sample and filmed himself giving her the news.

Sadly, the couple posted a heartbreaking follow-up video Saturday saying Nia had miscarried.
"We were so happy ... and you could see in our vlog from yesterday, we were just so overjoyed," Nia said. "And it was like a huge celebration. And then it – bam – it just hit us like a bomb."
She added, "We really, for the first time in our marriage and our relationship, grieved together."
