"Last night you told CNN 'Islam hates us'. Did you mean all 1.6 billion Muslims?" Jake Tapper asked Donald Trump.

"I mean a lot of them. I mean a lot of them. ... You can be politically correct if you want. I don't want to be so politically correct. I like to solve problems," Trump said.

"We are going to have to work together with Muslims who are not radicals and so I think you can be correct without needing to be politically correct, we are going to have to work with people in the Muslim faith," Rubio responded at the debate.
