Rosa Parks was arrested after refusing to give up her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama bus Dec. 1, 1955. It lead to a bus boycott and became a signal moment in the Civil Rights movement.
The Southern Poverty Law Center shared an image of the police report written about Parks on the 60th anniversary of her act of civil disobedience.
