A 3-year-old in Minneapolis got a surprise at the zoo Saturday.

When Evan Tulk was invited to help handle a live animal, the live animal turned out to be his dad — Sergeant Joseph Scott, a soldier who had been away for a year, serving in Kuwait and Iraq.
