An explosion was seen and heard in a chemical manufacturing area in Dongying City, China, late Monday night, according to the People's Daily, China.
The newspaper posted an image of the blast on its Twitter account.
A single, loud "boom" was heard, according to Reuters. A person died in a chemical plant explosion in a different part of the Shandong province last month.
