He was found guilty of consipiring to kill his family on April 15. WPTV reported that in 2014, the teen filed a claim of abuse against his parents, which was found to be false.

He then gave a classmate a note, offering $1,200 to kill his parents and stepbrother. His attorney said during the trial that the note was a joke, and that he should be sentenced to probation, according to WPTV.
