Release date for ‘Oceans 8’ starring Sandra Bullock, Rihanna announced

The female-led con movie “Oceans 8” has a 2018 release date and a poster.

Warner Bros. debuted the poster art for the highly anticipated movie on Twitter Thursday.

The movie stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter and Awkwafina, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bullock plays Debbie Ocean, sister of Danny Ocean, who was played by George Clooney in the original early 2000s franchise. She assembles a con crew, made up of the film’s co-stars, to pull off a heist at the Met Gala.

In January, Rihanna shared a still image from the movie that included her co-stars.

“Oceans 8” will be in theaters June 8.
