Honda has issued a recall covering its 2017 to 2019 Ridgeline. That's because company officials said there is an issue with the fuel pump feed ports. The recall affects 106,683 pickups.

They can become corroded from acids found in car wash soap, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced.

The corrosion can cause cracks that could let gas leak and could increase fire risk. The company has not received any reports of fires or injuries related to the recall.

The recall is set to start on March 7, NHTSA reported.

The company will alert owners who can get the affected fuel pumps replaced for free.
