Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton won the District of Columbia Democratic primary Tuesday.
While Clinton made history last week becoming the first female presumptive candidate from a major political party, her opponent, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, has said he isn’t giving up and will take his fight to the party’s convention in July.
As elections officials started to count votes in the nation's capital, Clinton and Sanders were meeting at a hotel in the city.
Clinton said earlier Tuesday in an interview with Telemundo that she was very much "looking forward to having his support in this campaign, because Donald Trump poses a serious threat to our nation."
There were 20 Democratic delegates up for grabs Tuesday.
