An 8-pound tiger cub is celebrating her first Christmas at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens.

The Jacksonville Zoo said the tiger cub, whose name is available for sponsorship, is asking for the public’s help to be a part of her first Christmas. The cub is in need of development items to help her play, learn and strengthen.

The cub needs items including wind chimes, wind socks, boomer balls to bungee cords.

If you would like to purchase items, visit the zoo's Amazon Wish List.

The cub is the first at JZG in more than 30 years. There are only an estimated 400 Sumatran tigers in the wild.
