Portable toilet crash really stinks for drivers

A truck hauling portable toilets crashed Tuesday on Interstate 5 near Bellingham.

They were not empty.

At its worst,  the crash caused a five mile backup.

A hazmat team with a pump truck was called in to clean up 20 gallons of spilled waste.

The Washington State Department of Transportation tweeted that southbound traffic was “constipated" during the “pottypocalypse.”
