When the trooper arrived, she was gone, but as the trooper waited outside the bar, the woman, Amber Carter, returned.

WTHR reported the driver tried to take her home, but she refused to give him directions and tried to scratch him.  That's why he returned her to the bar.

After giving Carter an opportunity to call someone to pick her up and take her home, she tried to put the trooper in a headlock and yelled at the driver who tried to take her home, WTHR reported.

WTTV reported Carter also kicked the patrol car's window.

Police described her as "uncooperative" and was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
