Tyshawn Combs, 21, faces several charges including two counts of first-degree reckless injury and neglect of a child. The two counts of first-degree reckless injury will likely be amended, since Combs' passenger, Nicoleray Brown, died after Combs was initially charged, WISN-TV reported.

According to a criminal complaint from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, witnesses reported seeing Combs racing with another driver before the Feb. 19 crash.

Combs' Honda Civic had hit a light pole and was torn in half, according to the complaint.

Brown and Combs’ 5-month-old child were both ejected from the car. The baby was taken to a hospital with a brain bleed, the complaint said. Brown was hospitalized and later died from her injuries.

A download of the airbag control module in the Honda showed the car was traveling about 107 mph in the seconds before the crash, the complaint said. It also said the car had slowed to about 76 miles mph a-second before crashing.

Combs had been cited 11 times in the past five years for driving on a suspended license, according to the complaint.
