Orange County sheriff’s deputies responded to a “suspicious vehicle” call Friday morning and once they were on the scene they saw exactly why the car was suspicious.
It was stolen. And it was underwater.
No one was at the scene when deputies arrived at about 8:12 a.m.
The car’s tag matched that of a stolen vehicle. No information was immediately available on when or where the car was stolen.
It was found in a lake at Beechmont Boulevard and Westgate Road.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
