A police officer is getting a lot of attention after his act of kindness was caught on camera.

Kayla Palmer posted a video to Facebook showing the police officer from the Delaware River Port Authority giving a homeless man a brand new pair of boots. According to KYW-TV, patrolman Kenya Joyner had just removed the man from a bus for being barefoot.

The man sitting on a bench immediately slides his feet into the new shoes.

“I just felt like the gentleman was simply on hard times,” said Joyner. “He wanted to ride on the bus but he couldn’t afford shoes. There was no need for me to arrest him for that.”
