Police in Shaler Township, Pennsylvania, are working to identify a man who allegedly ran naked through a neighborhood Monday night.
According to authorities, a 21-year-old man was yelling and knocking on doors wearing nothing but socks.
“I turned around to see if it was an animal and I turned on my flashlight on my phone, and it was a completely naked dude who stood up in my yard. I asked him, ‘Buddy, are you OK?’ and he didn’t register at all. He ran into the fence,” witness Jacob Fitzpatrick said.
Neighbors called 911 and when police arrived, they reportedly chased the man through several yards before catching up to him. Police used a stun gun during the chase, and somehow, the man ended up falling down a 40-foot hillside.
After 40 minutes, he was brought up the hillside by firefighters and taken to an area hospital by medical helicopter.
Shaler Township police said the man is listed in stable condition. His name has not yet been released.
