A Florida woman was arrested on April 22 after police said she showed up at the Department of Children and Families under the influence of drugs and her child was wearing a day-old, urine-soaked diaper.
Bianca Danielle Hall, 22, came to the Department of Children and Families office in Fort Walton Beach, Florida at 2:30 p.m for an interview when a police officer noticed the child she was holding had a diaper that was "soaked with urine," the Northwest Florida Daily News reports. Hall told police that she "hadn't changed the diaper all day" and that the child was hungry after not having anything for breakfast, according to Northwest Florida Daily News.
According to police, Hall tested "positive for cocaine and benzodiazepine", and told the officer that she "had used both cocaine and Xanax over the past two days," Northwest Florida Daily News reports.
Hall was arrested and charged with child neglect without great harm.
