A woman in Indian River County was arrested after she tried to attack her husband with a toilet lid, Off The Beat reports.

On Oct. 17, police got a call from the husband of Angela Austin-Knight, 48, who said he “locked himself in the bathroom and his wife was attempting to gain access using a porcelain toilet lid,” the police report states.

The husband told police he got into an argument with his wife outside and she hit him, Off The Beat reports. He then ran inside and locked Austin-Knight out of the house, who used a porcelain toilet lid to break the kitchen window, Off The Beat reports. Once inside, she threatened to hurt her husband with the toilet lid, according to police.

Police said Austin-Knight was holding a bottle of liquor when they found her and she appeared intoxicated.

She was charged with domestic violence.
