A West Virginia man was arrested after Florida police received a call Thursday about a man sleeping in the bed of a truck at a motel, then discovered that the vehicle had been stolen.

Keith Ashton Brown, 28, was arrested.

Police responded Thursday morning to a Leesburg motel after getting reports of someone sleeping in a truck bed in the parking lot, the Daily Commercial reports.

Police said the man in the truck bed told them that his boss and co-worker “would not allow him to sleep in the room they were sharing.”
