Flames and smoke could be seen billowing from a plane on the tarmac at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Thursday.

The fire, believed to have started in the engine, was quickly put out.

All passengers and crew were removed from the plane promptly. The Associated Press reports that there were 15 passengers injured, but none suffered life-threatening injuries.

There were 110 passengers aboard the Dynamic Airways Boeing 767.

The airport reopened Thursday afternoon.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
