Pilgrim's Pride has once again expanded its recall of cooked chicken products over "possible foreign matter contamination," according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The products "may be contaminated with extraneous materials, including plastic, wood, rubber and metal," the USDA announced. Over 5 million pounds of cooked chicken products have been recalled.

The latest recall involves products produced in 2015 between May 6 and Dec. 3. There was also a change in poundage and distribution area. For all affected products, visit the latest USDA news release.

The original recall was announced in April. Recalled products include 10-, 20- and 30-pound boxes of 5-pound bags of cooked chicken nuggets, patties and fritters, The Associated Press reports. The items – sold under the brand names Gold Kist Farms, Sweet Georgia and Pierce – were produced from Aug. 21, 2014, and March 1, 2016, and are marked with establishment number "EST.20728."

"There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products," which were shipped across the country for "institutional use," the USDA said in a press release. That includes schools.

If you have any of the recalled products, do not eat them; either throw them away or return them to the place of purchase, the USDA said. For more information, call 1-800-321-1470.
