Photos: National 9/11 Memorial Museum
The National 9/11 Memorial Museum opened the public in May 21, 2014. The dedication ceremony, held nearly 13 years after the 2001 attacks was attended by President Obama, the survivors, rescuers and victims' relatives. The museum serves as a memorial to the nearly 3,000 people who died during all three of the 9/11 attacks, including the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pa.
