According to the Sacramento Bee, officials found the big cat in the backyard of Mabel Furr's home.

"[An officer] said, 'There’s a mountain lion in your backyard. Stay inside and do not come out,'" said Furr, 74. "I was kind of shocked but not afraid."

Officials sedated the 70-pound cat and released it into the wild Sunday.

No injuries were reported, according to Sacramento police.
