A massive weather-related pileup involving around 26 vehicles led to an Interstate shutdown in Eastern Oregon Saturday.
Black ice and low visibility contributed to several collisions about 30 miles east of Baker City, Oregon. One of the vehicles involved was a Chevy Silverado driven by Kaleb Whitby. According to The Oregonian, Whitby sustained minor injuries after rear-ending a jackknifed semitrailer and later rear-ended by another semitrailer, sandwiching him between the two trucks.
His injuries required only two Band-Aids on his finger and some ice for his left eye.
There were no fatalities in the pileup.
