A Los Angeles businessman shows there are still people who do kind things in a world that has recently been rocked by violence.
Shlomo Rechnitz made sure that 400 U.S. soldiers didn't have to eat the standard military travel meal for dinner during their layover in Shannon, Ireland.
Instead, Rechnitz asked the troops' commander if he could treat the military members to a hot meal, The Daily Wire reported.
After the soldiers enjoyed their meal at any restaurant in the airport, the commander asked Rechnitz to share with them why he wanted to do it.
The explanation was posted to YouTube.
Rechnitz was on his way from Los Angeles to Israel with his family during the layover in Ireland.
