The Philadelphia Flyers have a new mascot. Meet Gritty.
The team unveiled the new mascot Monday morning.
According to the Philadelphia Flyers website, the name Gritty describes the team's attitude.
Gritty is “loyal but mischievous” and the “ultimate Flyers fan,” the website said. He’s orange and black, the same colors of the team he boosts.
Penguins fans will agree, we'll take Iceburgh over Gritty any day.
