Pepperidge Farm remembers when it was the only company making Milano cookies.

Last week, the bakery company sued boutique grocer Trader Joe's, saying the store is infringing on a trademark by making a knockoff version of the Milano, one of its signature cookies, Reuters reports.

Pepperidge Farm, which is a division of Campbell Soup Co., said in a complaint filed in federal court that Trader Joe’s is “confusing shoppers” with its Crispy Cookies, Reuters said.

The Milano was first produced in 1956, and Pepperidge Farm registered a trademark for the cookie in 2010.

In its complaint, Pepperidge Farm says it wants Trader Joe’s to stop making the Crispy Cookies, and it wants the grocer to pay damages.
