A video of a K-9 officer in the Twinsburg, Ohio, Police Department shows the dog chowing down on a sweet treat.

The German shepherd, Yasso Von Lommatzch, went for an off-duty puppuccino run to Starbucks, where a barista whipped up the special "drink."

Yasso, accompanied by Patrolman Yamil Encarnacion, can be seen hanging out the car window in anticipation of the treat, which is simply a cup of whipped cream.

"Life is full of rewards," Encarnacion wrote on Facebook. "It's not always work and training for him. He's treated as family and he's a good boy."

The video has been viewed more than 1 million times on Facebook.

Yasso is trained to detect illegal drugs, apprehend suspects and conduct searches, according to WJW-TV. He was imported from Germany and is certified in Ohio as a narcotics and utility dog.

Encarnacion frequently posts photos and videos of Yasso on Facebook and Instagram.

Puppuccinos are available for free for all dogs who visit Starbucks.

The Kitsap Humane Society in Silverdale, Washington, made headlines in August for its Puppuccino Pals program, which gets dogs out of the shelter and to a local Starbucks so that people in the community can see the animals and consider them for adoption.
