Some parents in Hopewell, Virginia, are outraged after a racy video surfaced online of an area high school teacher performing in a burlesque show.

According to WTVR, the YouTube video that features the Hopewell High School teacher has been viewed at least 2,000 times. Several photos of the teacher also are making the rounds on social media.

"A lot of body, breasts," parent Bernadette Thomason told WTVR. "It was just the whole nine yards."

Thomason and some other parents say the woman should be fired.

"I don't think she needs to be teaching my kids," Thomason said.

But WTVR's legal expert, Todd Stone, said that if the video was circulated without the teacher's knowledge, her job is probably safe.

"This is a legal profession. ... She has the right to express herself, and I think it's protected speech," Stone told WTVR.

Teachers in Virginia can be fired for "immorality," but Stone doesn't believe the video qualifies.
