Monday brought flash floods to the hometown of Kansas State University, drenching the campus with as much as six inches of rain and turning streets into rivers.

According to WDAF, KSU police asked students to avoid school, but the co-eds certainly didn't avoid the streets.

Many KSU-ers took advantage of the not-so-lazy rivers outside their homes and hopped aboard some sort of flotation devices.

Social media is filled with videos of students riding down neighborhood streets on inflatable whales, baby pools and kayaks.

No class? No problem. These creative students managed to find a way to entertain themselves on a week day.
