NYC helpdesk employee suspended for taking calls in robot voice

There's a time and a place for silly voices, and it usually isn't at work.

Ronald Dillon, an NYC Help Department employee who works at the agency's IT help desk refuses to stop talking like a robot.

Apparently Dillion was suspended back in 2014 for 20 days without pay after refusing to stop using his robot voice.

Dillion has now been suspended for another 30 days after a confused customer told another Health Department worker that she thought "there was a new automated answering system and hung up when she heard the robot answer."

Dillion simply maintains that he is not a people person.
