A new online trend is putting people and property at risk.
It is called the #NoFlagginChallenge and the posts are encouraging people to tear down Confederate flags no matter where they are flying, WSLS is reporting and post the video to social media.
One incident happened in Florida. A man said his home was the one that had the flag ripped down, WSLS reported.

The flag stealing is also apparently happening in other areas.
In South Carolina, flags were allegedly stolen from a home and a car in two separate incidents.
