Deputies uncovered the baby, who officials believe had been born within the last 36 to 48 hours, swaddled in a blanket and cold to the touch, according to officials.

The baby was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital where she is in stable condition, according to investigators.

Investigators are asking the public for help to identify the child.
