It’s estimated that post-traumatic stress impacts nearly 8 million adults each year. As many as 20 percent of the veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan suffer from the condition. One organization aims to shed light on the illness on brain health through a public information campaign.

One Mind has created a series of video and print public service announcements to encourage the public to join in its effort to solve the mysteries surrounding brain injury by donating to the organization. One of the PSAs features retired Army Col. Gregory Gadson, who lost both legs and injured an arm in a roadside blast in Iraq.

The One Mind PSAs also feature the struggles of an athlete sidelined by brain injury ...

...and a caregiver of a person with a brain injury.
