Must-see: White shark leaps from water in pursuit of seal

Sharks have made quite a few headlines this summer, but this viral video may be leaps and bounds above them all, literally.

A video released by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy this week shows a white shark in pursuit of a seal. (Mobile users can watch it here.)

The hunted uses its agility to jump out of water to help it escape. Not to be outdone, the shark makes the leap, too, and just narrowly misses.

"We had never seen a breach out of water before," AWSC President Cynthia Wigren said. "It was pretty incredible to see."
