A Michigan police officer's incredibly close call during a weekend traffic stop has gone viral after dramatic dashcam video of the encounter was released Monday.
According to WOOD-TV, Brad Gentry of the Battle Creek Police Department pulled over a car Saturday and walked up to the driver's window. The video appears to show the driver firing a handgun at the officer's head, but Gentry quickly dodges the bullet.
Gentry returned fire and followed the suspect, who led police on a high-speed car chase, WOOD reports.
Darriyone Zamone Clark-Brown, 21, was arraigned Monday and charged with attempted murder. He is being held in the Calhoun County Jail on $250,000 bond.
