1. Carly Fiorina responds to Donald Trump's "face" comment. Trump recently made headlines after he was quoted in Rolling Stone as saying of Fiorina, "Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?" Trump later claimed that he had been talking about Fiorina's persona, not her face.

When asked to weigh in on Trump's remarks Wednesday, Fiorina said, "I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said."

2. Jeb Bush defends his wife, demands apology from Trump. The Trump-Fiorina face-off wasn't the only sparring match to take center stage. Bush had some choice words for Trump over comments the businessman made involving Bush's Mexican-American wife. Earlier this year, Trump said, "If my wife were from Mexico, I think I would have a soft spot for people from Mexico."

During Wednesday's debate, Bush told Trump, "To subject my wife into the middle of a raucous political conversation was completely inappropriate, and I hope you apologize for that, Donald."
After a short back-and-forth, Trump refused to apologize. "I said nothing wrong," he said.

3. Bush admits he smoked marijuana 40 years ago. During a discussion about drug laws, Bush said, "Forty years ago, I smoked marijuana, and I admit it. I'm sure that other [candidates] might have done it and may not want to say it in front of 25 million people. My mom's not happy that I just did."

As other candidates weighed in with their views, Fiorina told a personal story.
"My husband, Frank, and I buried a child because of drug addiction," she said. "We must put more money into drug treatment."

4. Fiorina slams Planned Parenthood. The audience applauded after the former Hewlett-Packard CEO shared her thoughts on the recent Planned Parenthood controversy, blasting the organization.

"I dare Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama to watch these tapes. Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking, while someone says, ‘We have to keep it alive to harvest its brain,'" she said. "This is about the character of our nation. And if we will not stand up and force President Obama to veto this bill, shame on us!"

5. Chris Christie blasts Fiorina, Trump. While Fiorina and Trump were taking jabs at each other over their experience in the business world, the New Jersey governor stepped in and spoke out.

"We don't want to hear about your careers," he said. "You're both successful people. Congratulations! You know who's not successful? The middle class in this country."
