On June 5, 2014, one person was killed and two people were wounded when 26-year-old Aaron Ybarra opened fire on the Seattle Pacific University campus and inside Otto Miller Hall, KIRO7.com reports. Detectives say Ybarra has admitted that he opened fire in what was meant to be a murder-suicide.

On Tuesday, 21 campus surveillance videos of the incident were released by the King County Prosecutor's Office after KIRO7.com and other media outlets appealed to the courts for access to the videos.

Jesus Villahermosa, an active shooter training expert, provided context as KIRO7 aired the clip showing the moment Meis subdued Ybarra.
