Never underestimate the power of a mother’s love.

A Wisconsin woman is being hailed for her heroic actions during a random shooting on a pedestrian bridge.

A distraught man opened fire after getting into an argument with his ex- fiancée, FOX 11 reports.

Erin Stoffel’s husband and 11-year-old daughter were killed, as was a man unrelated to the family.

Stoffel herself was shot three times, but had the presence of mind to move her two remaining children off of the bridge. She told her 7-year-old son to go get help.

Stoffel remains in critical condition. A GoFundMe page set up for the family has collected over $98,000.

Amid the violence on the Trestle Trail Bridge Sunday night, police and doctors say there was plenty of heroism and bravery.
