Britney Kierin Joe, 21, punched the 3-month-old boy when he wouldn't stop crying, the woman's mother told investigators, KFSM reported.

Joe told investigators she only slapped the boy and that she found him with the bruise around his eye, KFSM reported.

Another witness told investigators Joe hit a 12-year-old girl with a cellphone cord and pushed her from behind.

Joe was arrested Sunday and charged with two counts of second-degree domestic battery, according to jail records.
