A mother of four ran a half-marathon in Columbia over the weekend, then collapsed and died moments later.
Amanda Glover, 32, of Elgin, S.C., was one of more than 1,000 people who finished the race. She finished in 133rd place for women in her age group in 2:15.17.17, pacing 10.21 minutes per mile.
Glover had just run a full marathon with her brother, Josh Peake, last month, and he says they crossed that finishing line holding hands.
"It hasn't completely hit me yet," Peake said. "I feel like i'm going to wake up from a dream. She ran the race of life. And when she crossed that finish line and passed away she crossed into eternity in heaven. And I do have that to lean back on." (Source: WLTX.com)
