An Oklahoma woman is accused of leaving her 1-year-old child in a hot car for approximately 45 minutes Tuesday.

Police arrested Hannah Secondi after being called to the Owasso Walmart around 6 p.m. Two witnesses told police they saw a child in a car with the doors shut and windows rolled up. The witnesses removed the child from the car and called police. The child was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.

Police found Secondi as she left the store. They said she frantically began asking if her child had died. When police asked, she said the child had been in the car for about 45 minutes. She said she'd forgotten the child was in the car when she went in the store.

The temperature when she went to the store was 95 degrees with a heat index of 103. The Owasso Fire Department said the temperature in the car was 120-138 degrees within 10 minutes of the door closing.

Secondi was arrested on a complaint of child neglect.
