A Buddhist monk, fully dressed in a traditional orange robe, chased down the man who stole his wallet while buying lottery tickets at a Philadelphia gas station.
Unfortunately for the 61-year-old monk, the suspect got away during the incident on Jan. 3.
Philadelphia police released the surveillance video, which shows the suspect pick the wallet, with $350, out of the monk's hand then run out of the gas station. The monk is seen in an altercation with the man near the getaway vehicle. The suspect pushes the monk to the ground before taking off in a late model, dark Ford Mustang.
The monk was cut on the leg during the struggle, according to CBS Philly.
