A Virginia woman was arrested Saturday after stabbing her 3-month old daughter with a kitchen knife, police say.
According to police, when the baby wouldn’t stop crying, Leah Arrington, 35, of Woodbridge used a kitchen knife to stab the baby in the lower body.
Prince William County police said Monday that Arrington is being held without bond with an aggravated malicious wounding charge, The Associated Press reported.
The baby was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
